Shady Oak Motel

Been here multiple times and never had any issues. Highly recommend.

I have no idea about the rooms there, but our car broke down when we were on vacation and we had to park in their parking lot. The women at the front desk was so nice. She ,of course, let us come in the office and sit in the AC because it was so hot. We were there for probably 2 hrs. She kept asking if we needed any water and if we were doing ok. She came out at one point and gave my daughter and I ice cream bars. She was so sweet, and we can not thank her enough for the great hospitality. It is nice to meet great people when u are in a crisis.

Our toilet didn't work half the time and there was a gap under the door, where I could see outside. We really didn't feel safe. Big crack in tub, scared to use in case water would leak to the people below our room. Not very clean. Yellowish stained towels.

Front desk lady was very sweet, cordial, very accommodating, but don't forget your hair dryer, coffee served only in the office but do have a microwave and fridge in the room. The beds were comfortable and room was clean.very outdated. It's on the strip right across rib crib , highly recommend for a basic motel Thanks again for all you did. We will be back!!! Well I'm not at Shady Oak I'm next door but it's not a bad Extended Stay except they don't accept pets the Branson Villas accepts pets it's a little old but it's not a bad place better than the streets
