My father has a camper there. Stays of course during the summer. This isn't our first visit but I'm reviewing now. We love it! It's serene, quiet, and homely. If you can, visit. The people are great and friendly so it's a good place to unwind and relax.
We come out here to visit in-laws and friends and it’s a great place to be! Love all the activities and whoever is in charge of activities does a great job! It’s so nice to see bands, liveliness, things for kids, contests, and fun events! Good job and Great Lake resort!
Decent place. It's a tad crowded, honestly. There's ponds for fishing but I don't think they stock them. Rules. Lots of rules. *Edit* it's no longer crowded. The events have gotten better for sure. Good bands and the people that are here are amazing people.
Shady Lakes is a grerat campground that is ran by and filled with great people.
Was amazing! Too bad the pool wasn’t opened for Memorial Day.
