Sereno Farms

I got married here on October 18th, and while the property itself has potential, I unfortunately cannot recommend this venue to future couples. What should have been one of the happiest days of my life turned into a stressful and disappointing experience due to how poorly the venue was managed. The venue owner, Chris, recommended a coordinator who turned out to be one of the worst decisions of the entire process. Joy was uncommunicative, disorganized, and completely absent when it came to the key events I had trusted her to manage. I paid her a significant amount for “coordination” that simply didn’t happen. It seemed like Chris was aware that she was like this, as he told me the day before my wedding that she had done this in the last few weddings at the venue. He mentioned she had perso

This venue really needs better maintenance. The groom’s room was full of chairs, dirty, and a complete mess. The owner is very unprofessional — he doesn’t communicate clearly and ends up wasting your time and money. If you’re thinking about having your wedding here, I’d strongly suggest thinking twice.

Wife & I had a lovely overnight stay! Owners were very accommodating & hospitable. They are making lots of beautiful improvements on the property & have big plans for future developments. LOVED the friendly miniature horses. We went in the winter knowing that things wouldn’t be in full bloom, but the peaceful environment was still very enjoyable. We stayed in the Lavender Suite which is the largest of the current two rooms. We were served a delicious Mediterranean breakfast in the ‘Great Hall’ room, and the previous day we enjoyed a quiet evening in the Hall with a cozy lit fire while puzzling & playing piano. Had a great time & would recommend for a quiet getaway.

If you are having a hot weather wedding, have it outside. We had the ceremony outside and it was lovely. We had the dinner and reception inside. The heat in the venue was intolerable. AC set as low as it would go but it felt like it wasn't working. About the bridal suite. The toilet wouldn't flush. There were no waste baskets. There wasn't a mini frig and no bottled water. Now the grooms suit The toilet wouldn't flush There were cob webs and spider webs above the bed. The shower fell apart as the groom was taking a shower. There were electrical outlets that had no covers. No waste baskets either. You will be charged to have the property cleaned aftet your event. It wasn't cleaned for us when we got there. I have now stayed at Sereno Farms a couple times, and the experience seems to get better with each stay! I have to begin by praising ownership as they truly care watching them put their blood, sweat, and tears into the venue. Seeing something new every stay, and being able to hear new and amazing stories of what the venue offers and has done only excites me to watch Sereno Grow!! In the world of hotels at every exit it was so refreshing to get away from the 4 walled rooms and have some personality with our vacation stays. The owner was so knowledgeable as he guided us on a tour of the grounds we learned so much of the processes and care of the lavender field that they have on property. He spoke to us on the influences of the gardens, and how trips through the world brought this beautiful
