Seneca Pines Lodge

I found this place while looking for lodging on Google Maps for our climbing trip and had to do a double take. The pictures looked cute, the reviews were great, but the price…affordable is an understatement. I thought this place was too good to be true, but booked our room and crossed my fingers. Before we arrived I took a look at the guestbook and was very impressed! Incredibly well done, helpful and cute! When we arrived for check in, the neighbors have some very chatty dogs and we were in the room closest to them so we were a little nervous. Thankfully, the walls of the hotel were thick enough to drown out most of the noise and our sound app on my phone did the rest. Spent one night here as we were in town to do a via ferrata as well as some hiking at Seneca rocks. My wife did the research on this place so she knew about this and I didn't. From the outside, I was a little uncertain initially as it looks like a motel. Once inside, it's very nice for a one night stay. Up to date stuff, comfortable and nice for two people. It would be nice if there were some plates and silverware but the room is small so I get not having those amenities. The lodge is very easy to find and access and is in a great location for hiking and outdoor exploration. Ample parking and close to the respective rooms. Check-in and out was super easy. The place was quiet during the day and night. It can be a little loud sporadically with traffic but it's much less than a typical highwa

The room was very cute and clean, and the beds were so comfortable! The kitchenette was nice, although a few plates/silverware would have been appreciated. Make sure you check your email for check in instructions. And I do wish there was an extra lock for security on the inside of the door. Amazing view of the stars at night! Overall would definitely recommend staying here, it’s so close to the Seneca Rocks trailhead and was a pleasant stay.

We enjoyed our stay. The lodge has a nice modern look inside. It was very clean and comfortable. It’s a good place to stay to explore Seneca Rocks and Blackwater Water Falls State Park. I would have liked some shelves on the bathroom walls so that you can place your toiletries on. I would have liked a deadbolt lock on the inside that we could have locked while we were in there. I recommend staying here if you are looking for a place to stay in that area.

Very well taken care of. The outside may be iffy but me personally gives a rustic feel. We were able to check in early all we had to do was give them a call. We also had some issues with the door code but was able to call and get it situated right away. We stayed in a double bed room. You walk in and get a fresh clean scent which is super nice unlike some places. Room was very clean! Very up to date on design. Beds were firm and comfortable 😌 The bathroom was beautiful 😍 shampoo, conditioner provided. Coffee and mugs provided as well though there wasn't any coffee filters but that's okay . Tvs are roku's also up to date on TV which was nice. Overall we would highly recommend this place 👌🏻
