Self Creek Lodge and Marina

Such an amazing resort with the best service ever. We stayed for 4 nights, and were not ready to leave! Our cottage was so clean, and had everything we could need, including an awesome hot tub with a view! We spent most of our time on the lake, and also made the easy drive to Hot Springs to explore there too. We can't wait to get back! Thanks Self Creek Marina for the most wonderful getaway ever!

Beautiful little lodge. Small issue with the coffee pot spilling over edge while filling, and the bathroom floor tiles being super loose/unsecured to the floor. Hot tub was not hot enough and shower heads were extremely weak with their spray, making it hard to rinse hair out. Otherwise it was amazing. Didn't get many pics of cabin bc we were exhausted and dealing with meals and kids during stay and fishing during the day. Definitely recommend!

When we arrived we had no boat slip. We always bring a boat. We were told that I booked online and did not reserve a slip. Not true! I always book the next year when I check out. Ask for a specific week and cabin and boat slip. We were able to get a slip. Next we unloaded in the cabin I booked last year. Someone came down and said we could move to a different cabin as the hot tub didn’t work. Don’t use the hot tub so we’re good. Then the manager comes down and very rudely and arrogant tells us we MUST move!! I said we booked this cabin last year and again very rudely and arrogantly said reservations are not guaranteed. After 20 plus years off and on its the first I’ve ever heard this. We moved of course. Manger has my email address and phone number and could have at anytime gotten in touch

The cabin was clean, decorated and well stocked. There was a small bag for one morning of coffee, towels and wash cloths, dishes, silverware,pots and pans. There’s a hot tub outdoor table and grill. The air conditioning is amazing. The views are gorgeous! We plan on telling all our friends how great it all was.

Fabulous cabins roomy, clean, and private. Great getaway for family or friends. This resort has so many things to offer. Hospitality and Service is hands down the best I have ever stayed. Jim and Lori are absolutely great. I highly recommend Self Creek Lodge and I will be staying again. The schmit’s
