Seaport Resort and Marina

My boyfriend and I came down for New Bedford First Night and stayed overnight. We had a room overlooking the harbor with a great view. The bed was very comfortable. The AC/heat was perfect and excellent water pressure in the shower. This place was a great bargain.

After a long and tiring journey from New York to pick up some machinery in the area, we stumbled upon Seaports Resort and Marina and decided to book a stay. We were pleasantly surprised to find it to be a pretty nice place, especially considering they are currently undergoing renovations. The room we were assigned was entirely new, which was a definite highlight. The added bonus of free parking on the premises was also much appreciated, and its prime location right on the water offered some lovely views. However, the absence of breakfast in the morning was a bit of a miss. We felt that a complimentary breakfast would have been a nice touch and would have enhanced the overall guest experience. I went there about a week ago for a function, overall the function itself was great but the place was bitter cold. They put the people serving the function in a corridor also with no heat, not even a kitchen space or room just in the corridor. I tried to look for someone in the front desk a couple of times during the night but found nobody. It was awful, so please be aware if you are renting to have a function there they have no support for needs that arise or even to handle a function properly.

Positive: The marina view was excellent. Negative: After checking in and heading down the hall towards my room, which was at the other end of the building, the hallway all the way to my room had a heavy smell of marijuana.

Great location right on the water can see all the boats docking beautiful location. Rooms was great television service was pretty good just overall great clean indoor heated pool. It was just a really good time would recommend. We'll definitely be coming again.
