Seagrass Guest Suite

Very comfortable, quiet and clean place. The owners provide an amazing, cooked breakfast. A boardwalk located within a short walking distance from the guesthouse provides a great opportunity to enjoy tidal salt marshes stretching along the shoreline.

If you are looking to stay somewhere homely and welcoming near the Ferry Terminal, then staying at the Seagrass B&B should be on the list.|The quaint B&B in a residential setting is just lovely. 5 minutes to the terminal and 5 minutes to the outlet.|Bruce and Jenny are great hosts. The place is clean and nicely decorated and they have thought of all the small details that count. Love the full sized toiletries. |Breakfast was yummy and wholesome, exactly like you would make at home yourself.|Parking was fine and super easy to find even though it's a new build. ||Would I stay here again? Absolutely.

We arrived late having flown down from Anchorage on a delayed flight, and were welcomed at the door, and our case carried upstairs. Despite the time we were talked through the times for breakfast etc, and given advice on the ferry times which was very helpful. Very comfy, spacious room, with lovely clean bathroom. Coffee was timed so it was ready for when we got up and the bread for toast was yummy! We were offered a cooked breakfast, but decided toast was fine for us! Would definitely stay again. Great rates too! Thank You!

The Seagrass Guest House is conveniently located for the international airport, Vancouver Island ferry and Reiffel Bird Sanctuary but is not close to shops or a restaurant. Our room and en-suite at the front of the house were clean and comfortable but quite cramped, particularly as we had to repackage two suitcases and hand luggage for our flight home. The breakfast was good and our host pleasant and helpful but we did not see him until breakfast time: there was nobody to welcome us or offer guidance when we arrived mid afternoon of the day before or when we returned from our evening meal. There was access to drinks making facilities but we could not get the hot water to work so couldn't make ourselves a hot drink until another guest arrived and worked it out.

We chose the Seagrass because it was conveniently close to the ferry terminal. The area is pleasant although not at all scenic. We had a nice room although it was a little compact. The bed and shower were good and there was a great breakfast. The host was friendly and helpful. There is a shopping centre nearby with a choice of restaurants - I recommend Milestones Grill & Bar (reviewed separately).
