Seabreeze RV Resort (Military Campground)

Sea Breeze RV Resort on the Seal Beach Naval Base is an excellent place to stay. The location is unbeatable—peaceful, secure, and just minutes from the beach and surrounding attractions. The resort is clean, well maintained, and very easy to navigate, making it a relaxing spot whether you’re staying short-term or longer. The views and coastal breeze really live up to the name, and the overall atmosphere is calm and welcoming. It’s clear that a lot of care goes into keeping the grounds in great shape. If you have access to the base and are looking for a safe, convenient, and enjoyable RV resort near the coast, Sea Breeze RV Resort is highly recommended. We would absolutely stay here again.

Being our first time here, we were very pleasantly surprised to see how well maintained this park is....then we realized how cool the Nature Reserve is that covers one side of the park. There is a field and trees where the Great Blue Herons and Snowy Egrets live. These large birds and their babies were flying frequently to and from their 3' diameter nests in the trees right next to our RV. Besides the park, there are plenty of nearby places to visit like Seal Beach Pier, Long Beach Harbor, and LA. There is no NEX or Commissary; however, there is a Mini Mart and a nice Laundry room available.

BRING YOUR BIKE! This place is AWESOME and lovely! It’s a military spot, so only military folks (active duty, retirees, disabled vets, DoD civilians) can stay here. There are armed gate guards. There are so many things to see off base. Note: there is no base exchange or commissary, although there is a very, VERY small shoppette. No gas station on base, either. Beautiful views all around, long, spacious concrete pads with concrete parking for a tow vehicle. Plenty of trails for biking and walking. We biked the Pacific Coast highway for 26 miles. I LOVE that CA has dedicated bike lanes everywhere! We biked all over: Huntington Beach (where there’s a large Rad Bicycle center that you test ride, rent, and purchase RAD ebikes and accessories and get your bike serviced), Seal Beach, Long Beach,

Military & Retired Military only. Clean, level spaces. Car wash, laundry, bathrooms. Quiet.

It's your typical military base RV park. Well kept and spacious with basic amenities. Obviously safe and secure since you're on base but then you have the hassle of dealing with gate entry procedures every time you want to go somewhere. And it seems like they open/close gates randomly so understand there are two entrances and exits to this part of the base where the park is. This was our first stay at a Naval installation (we typically stay at Air Force bases) so we were caught off guard when they wanted to inspect the interior of our trailer before bringing it on base, so that's another thing to be prepared for. Other than that, its a great option for the area. Prices are high when compared to other installations but fair when compared to anything else in that area of California.
