Sea Pines Golf Resort

We stayed here on our way up the coast and again on the way back. Pros: The staff were all super nice and helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The restaurant was good, reasonably priced for a gold resort and the wait staff were great. The area is quiet and safe. Cons: Our only complaint was not with the resort itself. Please be aware that this is an older complex and the walls are somewhat thin and that there are quiet hours. Be aware and considerate of your neighbors. Our neighbors one night were loud, their TV was loud and we could literally hear every word he was saying. He was bragging a lot and she was just giggling at every story and joke. We ended up calling the front desk once it got to 11:00pm. Thankfully they contacted the neighbors and they called it a nigh

My experience: I booked on Expedia, big mistake much higher than going directly through the property. The check in was confusing, but desk people were nice, never really got the information I wanted. But It was probably a Expedia issue. Everyone wants to pay more for a room if they can right. Just be aware of lots of hidden fees regardless of saying the price listed is the total cost . Ok the property: staff was seemingly nice, Room was clean. The location is good . If you are on the second floor I have to assume you see the bay. The lower floor you see a brick wall with some landscape. The rest of the grounds are well maintained. So it’s ok , but personally for me I would rather of stayed somewhere else if i would have known the full cost up front. I would not go back or recommend to a f

We live locally, but Sea Pines Resort and Restaurant is a favorite for brunch. Today we had a large group of 14. While it’s often difficult for servers to manage such a large group, Evan our server was very warm, friendly and efficient. The food and drinks are excellent. The coffee is plentiful. Sundays are a hit with live music on the patio. Highly recommend it, whether for a single, couple, or family. Sea Pines can accommodate all.

Definitely not worth the price and rating it has. Over marketing and misleading advertising, not a resort. Barely a motel. Old rooms, spider webs everywhere. No amenities apart from an old smelly hot tub. Definitely not worth it tbh!

Menu at restaurant regularly advertises a number of Alaskan Halibut items, including grilled and fish and chips, and is the main fish offered both online in in house. They DID NOT have Alaksan halibut, but offered a lower grade hallock instead. False advertising.
