Scout Camp Spot

This is an excellent group camping area. There is a shelter with picnic tables, 2 large grills, lights, 6 electrical outlets, a trash dumpster, plenty of parking. It has a "amphitheatre" area with bench seating, fire ring and a stage. Restrooms are standard county parks pit toilets, but they are in great condition and are kept clean.

Love the location! Love the features. The space is great. The park is wonderful. Unfortunately, the weather did not agree with us.

Our Scouts had a blast, the creek, playground and lookout tower are a must see when you visit. The miniature amphitheater was quite fun as well. Plenty of room to camp and play around. The bathrooms are way better than other compost bathrooms I've seen. The only reason I rated 4 stars is because there was no shower, but there are truck stops nearby and I had a portable shower so all was fine. Overall I definitely recommend it and WILL be back.

This was a great and very clean park. I enjoyed a quiet friendly place to take a break and eat. I only gave 3 stars selfishly thinking of myself because I prefer rivers and big woods over man made lakes and concrete pavilions. But I have no complaints

Great park with many parking lots along a 5.6 mile trail. Has a pond for fishing and a pretty nice playground. I will definitely visit again.
