Scioto Inn

My wife and I recently spent an overnight stay after visiting the various businesses in Bellefontaine and West Liberty. The check-in/out process was convenient and the room we stayed in was extremely quiet, as was the rest of the inn. We enjoyed the blend of historic and modern within our suite and we wouid definitely stay here in the future. We would also recommend eating at Cafe Paradiso for dinner in downtown Urbana (2 minute walk from the inn). Be sure to make reservations. Thank you again for a great time away. Wife and I stayed in Urbana for two nights and wanted to stay somewhere a little unique. This little hotel is ideally situated near the middle of town, within very easy walking distance of shopping, restaurants and cafe's. The owner, Richard, was very responsive to emails and extremely helpful while we were onsite.||The Inn is very clean and well decorated with art from local, Ohio artists. The historic flavor to the Inn has been kept and has a small-town feel to it. The front of the building is a nice welcome as you enter through the front porch and enclosed public seating area. Our room was 203 at the top of the stairs.||The room was very well appointed with a comfortable queen sized bed, a modern bathroom, sitting area, small kitchen area, and a back porch/sitting area. We had a fantastic stay here at Scioto Inn. Already planning our next visit. The room was clean, cozy and inviting. It was easy to access the surrounding stores by walking. And inside the Inn had accommodating things such as snacks and coffee. I would highly recommend the Scioto Inn to anyone who is visiting from out of town AND anyone local who wants to experience a local get away. You will not be disappointed. If I could give more stars, I would. This place was amazing. The whole Inn and rooms were absolutely beautiful. I spent my birthday weekend here and I'm so glad I did. The set up of everything was so romantic. The owner that I talked to to reserve my room was so pleasant. There are lovely restaurants with in walking distance from here. I would definitely recommend this place, you will not be disappointed 🥰

Very clean rooms the staff is amazing. Help you with every need. It so close to downtown you can walk to all the shops get food and even some cute clothes for your significant other at A mustard seed. You got to try this place 5 stars all the way.
