Schell’s Resort

We rented three cabins for the week. Cabins were clean, screened in porches, good water pressure, hot showers, boat docks just outside of the cabins. Owners were very nice and helpful. Suggestions: Owners could screen in the fish cleaning station and add another cleaning table if several people were cleaning their fish at the same time. We had several days of high winds and rain that hurt our fishing along with a mayfly hatch. 🙄 Overall, great trip with my five brothers and several nephews and their boys.

I am so happy I found this place!! We loved our stay at Schell's Resort! We were in the area for a truck race at Onaway Speedway (6-7 minute drive). This was just the place we needed after a long day at the track. We stayed in a 2 bedroom/1 bath house- plenty of room for a group of 4. My fiance and I kept commenting on just how cute the place was. The view from the kitchen window (and even the driveway) is just amazing at night. We are from Maryland and used to everything being dark by 8pm --- not here!! The most beautiful views of the sun setting on the lake. We stayed at House #8 which is across the street- very quiet. Nice paved driveway for our truck. Our last night there we were able to enjoy the beach. If we had more time, we would have loved to start a bonfire. Zero complaints. We h

Went up in September for family gathering. The house was very clean well stocked with supplies needed. We look forward to returning.

The owners are very nice and friendly. They care about their customers the view was beautiful. We will stay there again. I would recommend this place to my friends and family.

Like stepping back in time. Nice and clean cabins. Definitely not luxury accommodations but the Schell's are very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay very much even though the fishing was really bad!
