I stayed here for 2 nights while having some work done at my house. I came back after unstaffed hours to get some rest. The air conditioner in my room was FULL of black mold. 3 small German cockroaches. Needless to say, I slept in my truck for the evening. I brought this info to the gentleman attention when he arrived at 9am. I left all day until after 3pm and when I returned they still did not have a room assigned and ready to go, the gentleman was very verbal about it, like he was doing me a favor. So I asked if they would be willing to compensate me for the one evening I slept in my truck. The gentleman told me he would have to ask. They never said ANYTHING. Still waiting on the CC deposit to be returned. Oh, and there was 2 small German cockroaches in the NEW room. Don't think I spent

I booked this place to stay for 4 nights for a great price. I wasn’t expecting too much for a great deal but this place was fantastic. Extremely clean, the rooms were well stocked, the bed was huge, they have a beautiful pool and nicely kept grounds area and it’s so close to everything!! But the absolute best part was the staff. Debbie the manager and Britney who works the night shift were absolutely wonderful. extremely professional and both went above and beyond to make my stay even more perfect. I can’t say enough good things about Scandia (also known as Lake Side Lodge) I will be returning very soon.

So far so good. I already stayed for the first week and it is Fine. It us not a fancy place, but functional. I am here for a out-of-state surgery and recovery, and this place has worked perfectly for me. It is spacious, clean and has a full kitchen and appliances in working conditions. If you can afford the prices of the area, go for a different place, but if you are in a budget, this is a great place.

They will literally steal your money, they kicked my mom out for absolutely no reason and didn’t give her the rest of her money. She paid for a few weeks in advance because she was visiting for her father in laws funeral and wanted to stay to help sort out the aftermath. This was the last thing she needed. They were also extremely rude, the only thing I can assume is that maybe they ran out of space and needed to make room for someone else. can’t begin to imagine why they would’ve kicked her out like that. She’s a very respectful kind person. Just be careful….

I wish I could give negative stars! The air conditioning did not work! The pool was closed and locked up at 3pm on a Saturday! At the same time, no workers were on the premises, nor did they answer their phones. They charged a $100 security deposit on top of the cost for the room and they will not refund it! We ended up leaving and booking a room elsewhere. It was unfortunate that we had to pay for 2 hotels but there was no way we could stay there! Never again!!!
