Customer Reviews
Only RV Park in the entire area with full RV hookups, located on the west edge of North Mankato, just across the river from Mankato, so much to do and see in both. Many pull through sites. Can accommodate the biggest and the smallest, including tents. Restrooms, showers. Friendly, semi rural, Golf Range, next to it, Great 18 hole Golf Course just across the road. North Links Golf Course, reasonably priced, and a very challenging course.
We stayed here for a weekend and really enjoyed our stay. This is a very small family run campground with large and long sites in a rural setting with quick access to Mankato. The owner, Dennis, is very nice and accommodating. He helped us out and let us use one of his extension cords from his garage: no deposit, no charge (who still does this today?). Thank you for that, Dennis! ||As always the question: Are we going to be back when in the area? You bet!
This is a great campground if you have a stopover or just want a quiet place to land. Unfortunately the reviews are correct about the campground owner. I have had a couple years to simmer down about my interactions with him. My conclusion he is not a people person and should not be the person they put in contact with those who come to the campground as he is not very personable. With that being said that is his personality. They would do better to have a different person out front greeting and checking in so that others don’t get the wrong impression. If you overlook that, the rest of your stay will be just fine. It is a no-frills campground, but it fulfills your needs if you’re stopping over or you have something going on in town And need a place of rest. We are hoping to return there in
Very nice, quiet campground! Loved the wooden porch at each sight.
Best service that place has had in years this last year. Seems like it's finally got honest knowledgeable hard working camp hosts . It desperately needed that. Only reason to come back now is keeping the people you think may think are replaceable but really wouldn't be for the best interest of the visitors or the campgrounds. Until next season ! 😁🫡
