Sausalito Beachside Suites

We went to the Sausalito B&B for a couple nights right after our wedding, before our true honeymoon in June 2002. The place was really nice, a stone's throw from the beach, and they did not skimp out on the interior decoration at all. This was our first time to a B&B and did not know what to expect. Apparently it was still a litle in the off-season and that kind of showed. The main woman who ran it was not around and some of the factors from that showed. We were treated fine, no problem there, but things like the jacuzzi no working, and the shower leaking everywhere made this two nighter less than great. Hello - I had talked to Bob on the phone about staying there from August 12th - 30th. He told me my indoor cats were welcome and that for those dates it would be $1000.00 of the top of his head. Then I get an email back saying "Price should be a bit higher for the time of year , say $1400.00" I was shocked how someone could be so far off in price. NOW today I get an email saying " Due to allergies we can bring the cats and the reduced daily rate would be $100.00 per day based on 2 people" from Jacqueline. I would never recommend this place to anyone -- they sure don't know what the heck they are doing. VERY DISSAPOINTING to say the least !

I stayed here with a couple of my friends for a baby shower. It was a great place; the owners were friendly, the hot-tub was awesome, and the place itself was nicely decorated. It was nice to be so close to the beach.|| The breakfast was yummy and the beds were cozy - needless to say we had a great time. I recommend this place, especially if you are a tourist because of its proximity to the shops and everything.
