What a gem. Small but fun. Different trails and diversity is amazing. Really enjoyed the groomers and the mogul field. Lodge looks very new and organized. Salad is a bit saggy though. Overall had a fantastic time!!
Intimate mountain with good variation in terrain and a nice lodge. However, a potentially great day of skiing was overshadowed by an overzealous lift attendant at the top of the mountain who harangued ever rider about lifting their safety bar too early. Apparently, someone gave this guy a whistle & a clipboard. Too many options for Indy Pass to put up with this nonsense. Won't be back.
Saskadena Six (formerly Suicide Six) at 247 Stage Rd in South Pomfet, VT is a little hidden gem. The drive to it is full of gorgeous farms and views and then the ski area itself, tho very small, is welcoming, and the terrain is challenging! We skied here because it’s part of the Indypass family and it’s on the way to my sister’s home. I’m so glad we stopped! The hubs loved the long, top to bottom beginner trail, which has some curves and turns on the way down. I liked the steeper trails. The parking is easy, though watch out for that slippery ice! They didn’t seem to salt or sand the parking area, so it was pretty sketchy, as was the bridge to go up to the lodge. But just be careful and you’ll be fine. We loved the retro feel of the lodge, and are looking forward to going back fo
In 2024, we skied at Saskadena Six over the Christmas break. We bought our tix the day of skiing. After buying tickets, my wife slipped and hurt her back bad enough to where she could not ski that day. They happily refunded her for her ticket for that day. 2025 heading back again. This time I bought tix in advance on-line. Three days before heading up I get the flu. Call and ask if we can use the tickets a different day. The response was "no transfers, no refunds." I was not looking for a refund. Just a chance to use the tix for which I spent >$600. Will come on a weekday non-holiday day this year, anything just to not waste all of that money. "No". Not sure what changed from 2024 to 2025. Maybe they thought we were locals in 2024 and realizing we were not in 2025 had a different pol
Great spot, on the Indy Pass. Family friendly with a great,, enclosed magic carpet. The base lodge was fine, tough lines on holiday weekends for food but seriously it's a ski spot so bring your own food (chili was mediocre). The face run on the front is the cool attraction and the wall of history as this was the first place ever to have a tow rope is cool. We had girl scouts selling cookies outside which made our day! It's a small mountain so check out the trail map and realize there is only 1 summit lift. It is a blast for a family and their ski school folks did wonder with my young kids.
