Ita a beautiful lake. There's a spot on the bridge you can park your vehicle and take in the sights. Supposedly it's great for fishing too. Kind of surprised there arnt any cabin or resort areas around it. Very desolate. A beautiful drive to cut out the highway.
Haven't personally experienced the camping and swimming etc. Only passed by here on accident but it was so beautiful we had to stop and take pictures. We are planning to come back next summer.
Nice dam amidst greenery and mountains. Limited parking available on the road crossing the dam but you can take deviation to the right while driving towards Arkansas.
Gorgeous! We were passing by, and we just had to get out and explore Probably even more gorgeous when leaves are all a'changin, but so beautiful now already!
It’s a really nice place for a hault and roaming around. The scenery from here is amazing.
