Saravilla Bed & Breakfast

We stayed here after moving our youngest up to the area. Everything was wonderful! The room was nice and cozy, the bed was comfortable, and the breakfasts were delicious! Kelly was very accommodating which helped us out with a few things. Since we happened to be here right after Christmas, we got to see the many Christmas trees and decor throughout the house. We enjoyed reading and coffee in various cozy areas. We got to meet both household cats and enjoyed interacting with them. We look forward to staying here when we come back to visit our youngest. We highly recommend! ❤️

PERFECT place to stay if you have any Alma College activities, as you can walk to anywhere: Alma Brewing Company, Pizza Sam's (but since they don't have sit-down, just get DoorDash to deliver), Starbuck's, Alma Bookstore & of course, campus. The rooms are beautiful and the whole (huge!) place is immaculately clean. More common areas than any other B&B we've stayed in, and we really enjoyed the covered front porch to gather our little group for Happy Hour. Kelly is a fantastic host! He is a huge wealth of knowledge about the history of Saravilla, the Wright family, and Alma - make sure to ask! He's also a very good breakfast chef and Rachel makes amazing baked-goods. We'll definitely be back!

Kelly was a great host for a great property! It was beautifully decorated in antique furnishings, it was clean, comfortable and quiet. The breakfast was made to order and served at the scheduled time. It is a destination we will return to when in the area. Check it out, you willl not want to miss this gem.

Come here and unwind and relax and enjoy this historic house! Kelly and Rochelle are the perfect hosts! They made my small wedding ceremony perfect in the ballroom! Breakfast is excellent and I wish I could eat there every morning! Book a stay! You will not be disappointed!

The owners of the Saravilla have some opportunities for improvement. First, they did not disclose that the B&B is not handicap-accessible and all guest rooms are on the second floor. They did not disclose several cats that live in the house in case guests have allergies. The owners use very perfumed cleaning products. They most importantly did not respect the “Do Not Disturb” sign placed on my door. I would not stay here again, and I would not recommend staying here until these changes are addressed.
