We were very disappointed in our weekend stay in this matchbox of a room.  Be sure to read all their policies ahead of booking your stay. A few of the problems we encountered included but, not limited to a busted A/C with an exhaust hose taped on which had fallen off and we had to provide and reapply tape to allow it to work properly. Both our room and the bathroom had a couple little ants running along the floor near the baseboards. The daily bath towels were only provided the first day of our three day stay. The entry code to the house provided to our travel agent was incorrect and we had to find a working phone number to acquire the correct code. Please do NOT book a reservation with this property. It's photos and descriptions are highly deceptive. It is a dumpy house with dim hallways. The neighborhood is dicey. No parking. They don't disclose that the parking is $10/night. This is a place where lost people book a room in a house with bathrooms in the halls. One shower for all to use. It is not a hotel room or anything that any sane person would want to use. My room had a single bed with no blanket and a small lamp stand with lamp. One bathroom. Young man lurking in the hallway. Others smoking marijuana outside. Then when I complained they wanted a deposit of $50 on CashApp to cancel. I texted Expedia where I made the reservation. They got it canceled but the property wouldn't honor that $50 offer. Fortunately, I didn't pay it in

Only thing missing was a TV that's it I really enjoyed my stay and you say one word and it's done. I mean I didn't even have to ask for a blanket came back and OOOONNNEEEE was there. I was impressed 💕💕💕💕💕 when you say clean it is clean cause I'm OCD. Oh and the ten dollars to park needs to go as well that's just NOT RIIIIIIIIGGGHHHTTTTT.I APPRECIATE YOU WAVING THAAAAAT COST. We have stayed at Santa Maria once before about 2 to 3 weeks ago in our biggest complaint was the room was listed as private when it wasn't and I wasn't a big enough window in case there was a fire. I have since told us that the safety compliances of their utmost importance but their privacy doesn't seem to matter because it's still listed as a private rental there was a wall they put in a room to split it in half, not even a good half because our 1/3 of the room add a lamp that was beyond on its last leg of that I have to balance for it to stand up in the corner.
