Santa Fe Trail Campground

This is a very pretty campground. The slots are very un-level! Very clean and inviting. I would have no issues staying here again.

This campground was quiet and clean, there were mostly camper trailers but a few tents as well. The sites all have cover structures and there is a dock. Sites are relatively close together but there still is room to move about. The water was low this trip, but we stayed during a storm and the level came up a bit. It’s a good kayaking and fishing area. But due to weather they weren’t really biting on our trip.

Good Corps of engineers campground. Santa Fe Trails has about 30 sites most are paved with electric and water. They are good sized, however some of the ones on the lake side of the loops are a bit off level and take some doing to get your rig level. The ones on the inside are pretty level. Two bars of Verizon, clean facilities and friendly relaxed staff.

Lots of shade most of the day. Quiet and on pavement. Lovely view.

Big open sites where you are not watching your neighbor eating breakfast. Site 30 is a littleun even, but not impossible
