Santa Clarita Motel - Six Flags Magic Mountain - Valencia

Positive: The location was good and seemed relatively safe Negative: The room wreaked of pine sol to the point it gave me a head ache. There was two huge gross clumps of hair on the floor and mold or grime on the exposed sink pipes. The bed was very uncomfortable.

It was nearly midnight, i had been driving too long. Wasn't going to be overly picky, just needed a clean room, soft bed, inexpensive, and 6 hours of uninterrupted sleep. I got way more than i hoped for. Nice big room, very clean, quieter than most, and so comfortable I slept a whole hour longer than I had planned! Good every way around!

Everything as expected, no frills, served its purpose. Would not hesitate to use the hotel again. Room was clean, everything worked. I'll never understand why a six-foot pillow is on the bed, along with four regular ones. Only negative was the train tooting its way by the hotel in the morning.

Reviews are FAKE, yet again on another dive. I booked this over another that I knew was clean because of reviews. However. I found this place not to be clean at all. I booked a deluxe room yet got an old room that clearly was not renovated and LOOKED NOTHING like the room I booked online. The sheets had stains all over them. Pillows were dirty, shower didn't work right. The ac unit was dirty, the air felt wet. All the furniture was old and tore up. The lotion bottles you could see were used and not new. Total wast of money when I could have gone to a Marriott or Holiday Inn and knew it be cleaner. Very disappointing. However the train didn't bother me but some guy outside yelling late at night and walking past my window multiple times did. They also have no latch lock like most hotels so

I add one extra day to my stay. I tried paying and the clerk told me i have to do it the day i checked out. When i went to the office the mornig i check out the clerk told me he could not do it. Why would i be able to add a day on the app if the hotel does not allowed you too. I hope i dont get charge becuse thats the hotel issue.
