SANDY SHORES Vacation Rentals

Our stay with Myrtle at Sandy Shores was fantastic! We stayed in the Patio Cottage and had everything we needed in a cozy cabin-like atmosphere. We enjoyed the beautiful lush gardens and the spectacular sunsets. We met several other guests while there, who were all repeat guests, that shared their love for Sandy Shores with us - and we now understand why. Staying here is like a warm hug. ❤️ We’ll definitely be back!

Imagine reading your book, eating your meals, even napping with the soothing sound of waves. The beach is steps away through powdery white sand. Every evening features a beautiful sunset. Myrtle has created a beautiful garden with private pockets for relaxing. She has also thought of every need down to beach towels and an umbrella. Staying with her was like visiting a relative, comfortable and homey. This place checked everything on my list. I wanted small, quiet, shady with beach access without crossing a road. I was also drawn to the 1950’s v-groove paneling because it reminds me of my grandparents home. If you are interested in a more modern interior, you should book the gulf view cottage.

Charming old Florida property! Beautiful gardens, well-maintained. The path from the unit down to the beach is breathtaking! This is a unique property and experience. Indian rocks Beach in general is a very nice beach that doesn’t get overcrowded. Myrtle, the owner is always out and about, making sure that you have what you need. Be prepared upon arrival for a 15 to 20 minute tour. Our unit was well stocked, absolutely clean and well-maintained. It is an older building. So the bathroom is very tight. If you are a larger person you may find it a bit uncomfortable. We did. But that’s really the only negative. We did visit during red tide. But it really did not hinder our experience too much. A most wonderful getaway!!!! From the well kept gardens to the super cozy cottage, it will be a place that we will return to!!! Our host Myrtle is the kindest lady and she is so dedicated to making the stay there the very best!!!

My husband and I just spent 6 nights at this little piece of paradise. Our first time to Indian Rocks Beach. Myrtle is the sweetest lady who is genuinely sincere in making sure her guests are felt welcomed and have everything they need to have a wonderful, memorable vacation. If you consider these cottages, don't hesitate to book one of them. You won't be disappointed! Very clean, well kept, beautiful landscaping and just a very short walk down a beautiful path to the beach. We hope to visit Myrtle and little Abbey again!
