Sandy River Outdoor Adventure

Relaxing accommodations! My wife and I stayed in one of their teepees and we were very surprised by the modern rustic decor. We toured the distillery and our lunch was perfect. The pizza with Brie was great. A relaxing getaway for sure.

We just got home from Sandy River. My husband and I invited our young adult children to meet us there for the Thanksgiving weekend. We had a wonderful time. We stayed in the Deer Run Cabin which has one queen bedroom, one queen loft and a pull out queen sleeper sofa. Upon arrival we were greeted with a Thanksgiving card from the staff. A sweet touch. The cabin was very clean when we arrived and the kitchen was fully equipped. We brought most of our Thanksgiving dinner with us already cooked and we were able to reheat it and make a few sides. There were 5 of us. It was a little tight for 5 adults in this cabin. I should have booked the 3 BR. My 22 y/o son didn't really appreciate staying in the living room on the sleeper. There was plenty of room in the loft for a blow up matt

We just came back from an amazing few days at Sandy River and it could not have been more perfect! Everything is meticulously manicured and well kept up. The Tipi we stayed in (Dream Catcher) was beautiful and so well stocked with every essential imaginably. Everyone was very attentive and saw to every need/request! We enjoyed the distillery and the wood fired pizzas meatballs were to die for! The staff was totally AWESOME and we really enjoyed our zip course guide, Miles. He was so delightful and took such good care of us in the training aspect and on the course. It was truly a fun, calm and relaxing experience of which we all needed. We planned a last minute overnight stay in the Dreamcatcher tipi with 4 teenagers. We enjoyed exploring the property and visiting with the farm animals. Although it was a cold day/evening, we enjoyed the fire pit and were extremely comfortable overnight. They provide you with everything you could possibly need. It was such a unique experience! I highly recommend!
