Sands Motor Inn

Though it is an older location, my room was immaculately clean and odor free. The price cannot be beat.||||It is located on the north side of the highway toward the west side of town. Probably family owned or operated. I will use this location when I return to Ulysses.

No hot plates or pets allowed, Lord help you if it snows, the heater quit working. When I come back in the room after work the heater was shut off, I was informed it was too preserve electricity. I'm pretty sure when I paid the $240 for the week I paid for the electricity and the heater. But when the heater stopped working I was informed that it was due to my use and not before upkeep of the heater or the hotel. Which is claimed to be newly remodeled and the rooms look decent but you can see the corners they cut especially in the floor. Won't be staying there again if I have a choice of somewhere else.

This is bare bones lodging. The bathroom was really tight but the room was mostly clean. You can tell they're slowly upgrading. Good wifi, tv, new door locks & the bed was decent & beef linens were bright & clean. Fridge & microwave in the room; all for $50.

Awesome the best place to stay when your in the area the manager an her son are very nice n Courteous... the rooms are clean. The beds are comfortable .. an great rates 👍🏽... would definitely recommend for anybody to stay.

Owner is very sweet and kind. She will make sure you are comfortable and any problems you have, they will correct it in minutes. I have been to more expensive hotels but this is by far the nicest as far as treatment. Price is also low!
