Sandpiper Lodging at the Beach

I love this place. It is very quaint and loved by its owner. The grounds and gardens are beautiful and well maintained. The rooms are nice, but not luxurious which is exactly what I like. Television with cable excellent Wi-Fi excellent cell service a refrigerator in a microwave that’s perfectly sized. Coffee maker. Very comfortable chairs and bed. There was a little courtyard out in front of my room, which was extremely comfortable and nice. It was exactly what I needed for a nice relaxing getaway. Beach is 300 yards. They have beach chairs in the garden that are perfect and fit me as a big person which was nice. Staff was super nice. Room was very clean. I cannot wait to come back again. Note you may want to bring disposable utensils and microwavable plates. Also, Stinson beach restaurant

Our stay at the Sandpiper Inn was truly memorable. The property is welcoming, peaceful, and perfectly located—just steps from the beach and hiking and right in the center of town. Falling asleep and waking up to the sound of the waves was incredibly calming and made the visit feel like a true retreat.||The spacious patio was a favorite spot for morning coffee and quiet afternoons, and thoughtful touches throughout the inn made us feel completely at home. Even the nostalgic DVD collection added a charming sense of comfort and simplicity.||Everything about the experience was relaxing, warm, and easy. It’s the kind of place that’s surprisingly hard to leave, and we’re already looking forward to coming back.

The Sandpiper was such a delight. We were in one of the rooms on the upper level; the room was clean and surprisingly quiet. The Sandpiper is just off CA 1 and within a block of Stinson Beach and multiple places to eat, including a small market.|Parkside Café had the best food whether you want a full meal or something quick. Its bakery was to die for. The pastries were always fresh.|The highlight of the property is its back garden. Absolutely beautiful! The landscaping is lush and filled with hummingbirds and other birds. There was plenty of seating in that area for relaxing.|We will definitely return.

What a wonderful place to come and relax while being so close to a beautiful beach. Heather is just a great host and all around person. I would recommend this place any day of the week for anyone looking to get a nice break from the norm. The Sandpiper is where you will be staying next time I'm in town.

I've lived in Marin County for 40 years but have never spent any meaningful time at Stinson Beach. I stayed at the Sandpiper Lodge for two nights in November. What a great spot! The room and kitchenette were fabulous. Sandpiper Lodging at the Beach offers the perfect proximity to all that Stinson has to offer. I will be back!
