Sandman Motel

I am so grateful for great hospitality at this very practical and sensible motel. It might seem like it’s in the middle of nowhere but sometimes that’s exactly where you need someplace to get a good rest like I did here. The front desk person was kind and gave me excellent service. In the room, I had everything I needed, and the very inexpensive laundry facilities right next to my room were a great bonus that I didn’t expect

The only reason I gave the room is four stars, is because they're a bit outdated, and the plumbing at this location, though they have good water pressure, is a little bit wonky, but I do have to say, that the owners of this establishment, are some of the most customer based, friendliest, and service based owners that I've ever encountered. The way they dote on their clientele, take care of them, share food with them, make a fire in the fire pit for them to share the experience with them and more, is something that I have never experienced with any Motel Owners in the past. This is truly a unique place, and I do hope to return here again one day. Even though it may not be the most glamorous of places, the atmosphere here, is a 10 out of 10. Typical small town motel. Fairly clean. Nothing fancy, but not trashy. The staff was really nice and we would stay again. The only complaint would be the annoying flies. Perhaps it’s a local problem that is not specific to this establishment, but a fly swatter would have been appreciated. Paid $56 plus tax.

Very nice management and easy to find.

The management here deserves all the credit. I’ve stayed in many motels, but I have to say this is the best manager I’ve ever dealt with. Super friendly, professional, and genuinely cares about guests. They even gave me a special Wi-Fi router for my room only when they knew that I wanted to play PS5. They’re making this motel not just a place to stay, but a place that feels livable. It’s affordable, quiet, and the rooms are much cleaner and updated than before. I’ll definitely keep supporting this local business
