San Luis Creek Group Campsite

Plenty of space for group to pitch multiple tents, gazebos to sit and hangout provided with huge grills and a fire pit on the side for campfire. Paved trails around that connects North campground to this one. Clean flush toilets and showers available. Water faucet near campsite is a perk! Large Open grounds next to the reservoir, so you could experience strong guys of 20mph which made it difficult for our tents to withstand. Lots of white spiders, cockroaches, earwigs and other bugs so make sure to carry bug repellents creams. Dust your tents well before packing. We saw deers, rabbits, rats, and other such animals around. Stay safe and make sure to toss your trash appropriately and don’t keep any food in open. Make sure to leave no trace. Our local Cub Scout Pack had our annual fall camp out at the group site here and it was a great location. Close to bathrooms, the site did have showers, and overall the kids had a blast. The space was huge and we were a fairly large group, with over 80 individuals attending (parents and kids). The kids went on a really fun bike ride (which was their favorite activity) and the weather was warm during the day for November but a bit chilly at night. Would recommend to anyone going.

Group site nice. Right on the water. Very spacious for our group of 50 with at minimum 18 tents. Has a covered pergola with electricity and running water. One con the only 2 showers to share between both group sites are pay showers. You get .25 per minute. Only reason unable to give 5 stars because water coming up out of drain due to over usage.

Very nice area, with rangers patrolling at night. Unfortunately it was windy the night we camped, so ended up sleeping in car lol

Paying more money to rent this spot and the park does not get kept up. Showers are breaking, and the concrete by the restrooms and gazebo arexstsrting to get uneven. If you are older or handicapped it's NOT ADA approved.
