Salvation Army Camp Northwoods

Just had our men ARC camp there. Great time absolutely Amazing. Peaceful at it's best. Over 100 men fighting for there lives got a chance to relax with ton of activities for us all. The cabins are good but the people there are not very okay. Too too much racism, swearing and inappropriate stuff from the people there. No refunds on your bracelet if you didn’t finish using it. This is a Christian camp so how is it this so disappointing. Make sure to get kids to cedar before the rain! Someone told me they ran half a mile from low ropes to cedar in rain and hail. The teacher there was warned and he said we were okay for the time. But 1 minute later it started pouring like crazy.

This must be a perfect retreat for children, especially if their situation at home doesn't provide the love and support they deserve. I'm 81 and have lived alone since my wife of 56 years passed away in 2021. We had no children but it's so good this camp exists to at least give kids a week of the happiness and spiritual guidance they may not experience in their homes. I'll be donating $295 to cover the cost of sending one child to camp. Many years ago when we had a picnic on the Kettle River, swarms of mosquitos became quite a nuisance. Hopefully bugs aren't much of an issue at Northwoods Camp.
