Saltgrass Outdoors Lodge - Fishing Charter - Hunting Trips

Our first night I can’t even wait until we get home just go a head and writing a good review ! The service is very nice excellent the people work is very hospitality,the food is owe-some thank you. The room is very nice and comfy.

This was the seventh time that our group, The Wounded Warriors in Action Foundation, brought four Purple Heart Medal recipients down to the Saltgrass Lodge to experience a couple of days of fishing the Louisiana Marsh and enjoy some true southern hospitality. |The lodge, the staff and the cuisine is all 5 star. |The weather was extremely hot, but using proper precautions and staying hydrated, the two days of fishing resulted in everyone bringing home coolers of fish. |At the end of the event, everyone went home with great memories of wonderful hospitality, great fishing experiences and the camaraderie of old and new found friends.

This was our third visit to the Lodge within the last 4 years; it was once again another awesome experience. Stayed 3 nights and booked 2 days of inshore fishing with Captain Chief. Caught our fair share of fish for sure, due mostly to Chief’s extreme patience, guidance, knowledge and passion. The meals served are scrumptious; Chef Catarina is awesome! Raymond, the owner, is hands on and continues to show his true passion and vision for Saltgrass Outdoors. We look forward to our next trip! Thank you!

Had a great experience at Saltgrass lodge!! Food was good, rooms were clean and fishing was great. Ike was our guide and did a great job. I’ll be back!!

This place is amazing and an experience of a lifetime for anyone looking to catch Red fish or duck hunt. I stayed 4 days with my 9yr old son and am so glad I choose to stay at the Saltgrass. The owner Raymond provides a charming location with fine dining at his lodge. His personal attention to detail and going the extra mile for his guests is why I recommend staying here. Not to mention he has the best fishing .and hunting guides. We caught trophy size red fish of 38 and 42 inches. Thank you Raymond and Ike for an incredible experience.
