Saco Motel

I have stayed here many times over the years for hunting. The owners Rick and Carla Nelson our personal friends of mine and they are wonderful people. It's always nice and warm there's plenty of hot water the TV set has many stations has a nice little microwave and refrigerator freezer and it is real comfy for a hunting camp. I really enjoy coming here and seeing my friends.

I was expecting somewhat what we found. It is an old motel that looks like truckers only might use it. The rooms are tiny and of course outdated. The beds have box springs with olive green stripes if that is any indication. The mattresses have obvious dips in the middle. The bedspreads are faded and torn, the blanket is lime green and pilled. The windowsill was thickly covered in dirt and there were large cobwebs. There is a fridge and a microwave. There is a new flat screen TV. A double room is very tiny. The bathroom has old brown tiles and was moderately clean. My husband thought the sheets looked dirty. HOWEVER, my preschool age son was concerned about the hole in the bedspread and stuck his finger in there. Then he got on the bed and bounced twice. Suddenly I noticed pale crystals c

Great experience! The bartender was friendly, the 12th floor had an amazing view, and the elevators were fast. It was a short walk to many local pubs. The hens and staggs are a bit wild on the weekend, but it's a good spot to stop in county Leitrim. Only downside is the smoke detectors are too sensitive - can't smoke cuban cigars in the bathroom

Standard roadside motel. Has free parking and free wifi which is a major bonus for me. I made my reservation same day as I planned to stay after finding all the motels in nearby Glasgow to be full. Rate was very reasonable and I was able to reserve over the phone. This motel is located right next to a cafe and a bar; luckily the bar is pretty tame and didn't disturb my rest at all with undue noise. The only thing I could possibly mention as a negative is that it's located very close the the train tracks and you definitely feel and hear when a train goes by (which appears to be a couple of times a day) otherwise excellent option for people traveling across Montana.

Clean, quiet, a/c, wireless internet, reasonable value. Small (small) blink in the road town. If you are into ecology (avoid utilizing all the resources required to build a new hotel), or supporting small business, this will do. I called ahead and was greeted at the curb by a woman who may have been running the cafe next door.
