We enjoy finding unusual places to stay, and this placed is certainly one-of-a-kind. I told my 11yr old and 15yr old we were stay in a “cabin” here, knowing it was more of a storage shed converted, and I think it’s a GREAT alternative to a hotel room. They had a sense of humor about it, as well. We rented “Hitchin’ Post Cabin.” At $40/night, it’s a steal! It’s “2 loft areas for kids” certainly means smaller children. The “mattress” in the loft is a flimsy, plastic-coated toddler-size, which was quite disappointing. There’s no air circulation in the lofts, but for two tiny windows. No plugs up there, so if you wanted a fan for that area, then bring an extension cord. ||The mattress below for adults was VERY old, and so soft and flimsy that we kept rolling into the center—no support what

What a lovely, quite, well kept park. The owners are lovely, and very responsive! Wifi and cell service aren't great but there's putt putt and a great salt water pool in season, so just turn the devices off. There's a little noise if your close to the highway but nothing ear plugs or a white noise machine can't mend. We really liked this park and all the surrounding areas. You're minutes from Cathedral Caverns, and a short day trip from Chattanooga or Ruby Falls. If that's not your jam plenty of shopping in Huntsville, with a great park in Hampton Cove, or head the other direction to Scottsboro and hit up Unclaimed Baggage.

Owner told my boyfriend’s nanny and paw that they rented the lot out to adults not kids and was telling them they can’t have their grandkids over there and outside. Just thought everyone should know this. They don’t like kids apparently. “Not for kids” but they have an entire arcade. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. There’s no reason they should tell anyone they can’t have their grandkids over anymore. They will be leaving this place and best bet they won’t be getting any money or business from my family or his.

We spent 3 nights here with a terrific PA rate of $15 per night. Gravel driveways and gravel site pad, full hookups, pretty good WiFi and a pool. We didn't use the pool. There is some highway noise but it didn't interfere with our sleep. The bathrooms are OK but could benefit from more thorough cleaning. Close to Crystal Cathedral State Park and about 20-30 minutes from Huntsville. AT&T signal strength -89 dBm, not bad.

I went to the campground to get my propane tank filled. I had heard they did that. It took under 5 minutes and the owner was very very nice! Customer service, you gotta love it! Price was great! He gave me a little insight. Those tanks for grills are 20 lbs but they only have 15 lbs in the places you swap your tank at. He fills them to 20 lbs! Go fill your tanks at Parnells folks!
