Rusty Buck Inn

We didn't get there till about 11pm. The door code was hard to see and a new concept for us. The room was freezing! It took us quite a while to figure out the heat. Tried calling but because it was after 10pm, we got a voicemail. We weren't sure if it was working or not, but we figured it out. Beds weren't horrible, but needs more pillows. The next morning, we were excited that breakfast was included, but the choices were pretty limited. Then we got locked out of our room because we kept doing the door code wrong. Tried calling again, but still got voicemail because it was before 8am. So we stood outside in 37 degrees waiting for the door to reset. The highway noise was ok. A little too close for my taste. Overall, the room itself is cute and very clean and served it's purpose.

Very friendly and accommodating. Room was small but very clean and decorated very nice. We were in Heber just for an overnight . We had our dogs with us for a weekend hike and they were welcomed with no issues. I would highly recommend this quaint little spot if you are in the area.

The king bed was excellent—comfortable, with soft sheets that felt just right. The room stayed dark, which made for good sleep, and by evening the outside noise mostly quieted down. That said, the occasional Jake brake might wake you depending on how tired you are. A couple of downsides: there was no extra roll of toilet paper in the room, and the roll that was there was already half used. I called the manager around 9:30 p.m., but only got voicemail and never heard back before we checked out at 7 a.m. the next morning. One note for larger guests: if you’re assigned Room 4D, be aware that the toilet is wedged tightly between the shower’s glass door and the wall. There’s barely any room to sit comfortably, which makes it an awkward setup. Overall, the bed and quiet atmosphere were great,

Great little motel. Room was cozy and very clean. Hardwood floors and ceiling was a sweet touch. The courtyard was amazing as well to relax and enjoy the weather. The communication before, during and after the stay was outstanding. 10/10 would recommend.

I've lived here for 8 years and have never been to this Inn. There are new owners and have recently renovated all the rooms. So I have nothing to compare it to the previous owners. But I can say this, now it's a really cute Inn. The room was clean and well furnished with rustic type cabin furniture. The bed was comfortable and the sheets were crisp. I did enjoy my visit. All reservations are made online. There really isn't a physical front desk to check in, but the process the Inn uses is very easy to navigate. To me, it qualifies as a boutique hotel. I do not know how kid friendly it is, but would assume that everyone is welcome. I would suggest this Inn to my own family if they were needing a place for the night/nights.
