Run-A-Muk Resort

We absolutely love it here. Rented the Up Nort cabin which is the penthouse. Full deck, room to move around and such a beautiful view. Breathtaking. ❤️

There are no kayaks. There is no beach. There are no fish, my wife called the inlet the motel is located on a mud pond; they call it a lake. There are no pontoons. Oh, and there is no air conditioning. Molly said she would refund us the $120, but then she said she wouldn't.

Reserved the larger upstairs room with the private deck for a family gathering. Our party of 16 all had plenty of space to mingle and the long kitchen table was perfect for all the food. Lots of kitchen counter space for food prep and plug ins for the crock pots. Ceiling fans, oversized sectional couch, comfy beds, large restroom, central air and different seating areas made this the perfect place for us. Rented their pontoon for 4 hours, priced fairly, clean, gassed up and they supplied the life jackets! Enjoyed being so close to the water and the water feature added to the ambiance. Early morning views from the deck are second to none. Great bird watching... feeders galore, we saw a number of different types. Clean up duties were light and easy to follow.. towels, trash, turn off lights.

We had a great time staying at this resort! The owners were amazing and the room was clean, comfortable and had nice updates. The lake view is great there was some good ice fishing also. There are some nearby bars/restaurants that were great fun and had good food. There is something here for everyone. We’re are definitely coming back!!

The perfect resort to gather with family! We rented the majority of the rooms for all our family this winter, so we could also enjoy the outdoors on the lake! The rooms were super clean and inviting. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. We used the biggest room in the resort to gather family and cook meals. The rooms was newly remodeled, and had the “midwest vibes” we were looking for! The resort is right on the lake. We walked on to the frozen lake from the resort, which was convenient. We enjoyed ice fishing, playing in the snow, and using the family side be side. We loved it, and will definitely be going back!
