Rufus Woods Lake Campground

Went to Rufus Woods Lake campground. It is so nice. The water is DEEP, 90 feet straight out front is pretty deep near the net pens. It is so cool, got to talk to someone that was taking care of the pens and seen the trout jumping all over. I love this place. I did catch 2 trough the last day, but seen the trout right in front of us in the water. Very nice fisherman helping out. Only used small white marshmallow and green powerbait and a size 6 hook. Don't cast out far, I casted towards the net pens where I caught mine, if you cast straight out in the river you will lose several hooks and sinkers. Also, take a bell with you. Several people fished after 7pm and caught some fish, mine was at 10am. Full hookups and nice bathrooms with a shower. I will definitely be going back to this place. Th

It’s pretty nice place to come for fishing. The campground itself is not great because you are in the open sun. They should plant some trees the! The camping spots itself is pretty great. They have water electricity on site. Bathrooms have showers. But when you come in in hot season the sun with your life;)

We've been coming here for 5 years and it's always been clean. The bathrooms are disgusting and don't work. The garbage cans are full at 6 in the morning. The camp host either got laid off or doesn't care! Very sad and very disappointing.

Easy access to all the fishing you need. Restrooms are clean.

Went there for the boat launch. Small launch, well maintained.
