They claim to be “pet friendly”, but charge a $75 non-refundable cleaning deposit plus $20/night for pets. By the condition of the room they do absolutely nothing to clean the rooms. It smelled, there was not a single towel in the room and the bed had a sheet and thin comforter only as linens. TV is about 24”, no outlets near the beds for chargers. The bar soap was so cheap and thin you could hardly use it to wash without it crumbling in your hands. By the end of the first shower it was in pieces on the floor: A $119 room which wasn’t even worth that cost $250 with the pet gouging. Avoid if possible. This place makes motel 6 seem like the Four Seasons.

Royal Inn Hotel is my to go spot when I’m in town. From the moment I arrived, the staff has always made me feel special. While I noticed some online reviews attempting to paint a negative picture of this hotel, I can confidently say that my experience was nothing short of excellent. It's unfortunate that some individuals seem intent on highlighting isolated incidents rather than recognizing the overall quality and service provided. I highly recommend The Royal Inn Hotel for anyone seeking a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Don't let misleading reviews deter you from experiencing the true hospitality this hotel has to offer.

The location is great and the views of the lake are nice. The front desk staff are very friendly. But the room was dirty when we arrived. We asked for someone to come and clean trash and cigarette butts from the balcony, but no one came so we had to do it ourselves. We were there for a week and were told that the room would be refreshed after 3 days, but it wasn't. Soaps, tissues, and shampoos were never replaced at all. We reserved a larger room with a full kitchenette, but the fridge didn't work. We were quoted and reserved the room (and received a confirmation) at one rate but were charged a substantially higher rate when we arrived.

Overall, Royal Inn Hotel provided a perfect balance of comfort and professionalism, making my stay not only enjoyable but also conducive to my work commitments. I look forward to returning in the future.

We were pleasantly surprised. After reading some reviews we were wary. But we were happy with the room. Nothing fancy. But the room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Very quiet. Grounds are well manicured. We would definitely stay here again.
