This is a very rundown place it is reasonably priced and ok for a quick night sleep if your on the road. There is another hotel down the road in Homerville but it's overpriced and the manager is rude and the rooms are not great. This is the only decent prices hotel room you will find unless you go to Waycross or Valdosta. If you are headed south you will not find anything else for miles. There are some shady characters hanging around at this old hotel sometimes but if I need a place to pull over and rest this is ok. I recommend camping at the river though.

Yes it is an old one story motel. Typical of what you see in small towns all over the country. ||I checked the review but knew exactly what to expect from the motel constructed 40 years back and did not found a single roach. I would not compromise on cleaniless but What I found in this motel was a value. Low rate, good size of the room , was CLEAN, the bed was fine and of course the furnishing was old but not broken or anything like that. ||A sweet lady is manageing it . At least it is serving the community in providing the necessary rooming. If one wants to have a new place there are plenty of them in Waycross and Valdosta both approximately half an hour from here.

I was escaping Hurricane Irma and managed to get a room here-all other hotels were booked everywhere-At least it had a TV-shower and toilet-and mini fridge. However I slept on top of the bed on my own blankets-I did still get a couple bug bites even doing that. Better than nothing but pretty awful! Owners were nice enough people though and refunded me two nights I didnt need. Oh and NO WIFI-had to drive 1/2 mile to get signal.

Horrible motel. I stayed here on June 6, 2019. My room was dirty and smelly. The tv remote didn't work due to not having batteries. There were two holes on the bed sheets. The carpet was filthy. The shower walls and floor was caked in dirt and soap scum. There was also a black mold like substance on the shower floor. Needless to say, did not take a shower. Saw a few roaches on the walls. Used bug spray to help with the problem. Paid $41.00, but would have done better sleeping outside in my truck. I would not stay at this motel if they offered it for free.

Stayed a night there and it was definitely a hole in the wall, but clean enough and peaceful and we slept well, with frogs singing in the swamp behind it. A work crew was in the rooms next to us, but they were quiet and the manager was friendly.
