Very grateful to get my tent in the shelter and kept dry from the overnight thunder + ⚡ storm. There's a toilet but no water, however a river bridge next to the camp site is ideal for a quick wash + top up water bottles. Can't have a name like that and not have a comical photo op
The water well is non-potable, bring enough water with you. The shelters at RoundBottom are nice and large. Each shelter has a picnic table and many of the sites do as well. The picnic table at our particular shelter was missing bolts and falling apart unfortunately. The views down at the Yough were really nice. We noticed there were more bugs in the campground then elsewhere on the trail for some reason. It could be because the bathroom was overflowing with trash all over the floor plus many bags of trash behind the bathroom. The bathroom was unusable in the state it was in. It might be better to just have people pack it in and pack it out.
Simple camping on GAP trail (close to 100 miles mark) It’s not accessible by car. Water is not for drinking.
Excellent camp area on the GAP trail. Nice shelters and a potty. You should Go for yourself!
Nice camp ground along the GAP trail. Contains 2 Adirondacks, 5 picnic tables and many tenting spots with fire rings. The pump here pumps non potable water.
