Rose's Motel

This is a nice, clean, 1950's style motel. Although it is an older facility, it is well maintained. Shelly checked me in, and she was more than friendly and helpful. There was Direct TV service, and the WIFI was fast. There are busy train tracks nearby, so there was some noise, but it wasn't bad. ALL of the rooms are accessible....Something that other motels in town wouldn't guarantee.

This is an older motel for sure so expect only basic comforts. A faint smell at first but not a bad unhealthy smell (like the chemicals tbey use to clean newer motels) I liked the really hot shower and the bedding was really clean and comfy. The TV was a bit static sounding but Shelly came right over when we accidentally lost our cable channel!

The folks from this town are so nice and so laid-back it really is enjoyable so if you don’t wanna stay in any of those rooms right off the highways Because they have hairy pillows or bugs or dirty bathtubs check out roses motel. I promise you won’t be disappointed. The owner is a second generation and Shelly is a wonderful person as well as her husband. The rooms are comfortable. The beds are very comfortable and you have lots of pillows, lots and lots of pillows a hot shower that works really well and a beautiful sunset from the patio. they also have barbecue grills in the back gazebo and plenty of seating all the way around the place with chairs and ashtrays for those of you who smoke

Wonderful motel with "old time" charm and individual touches in each room. Exceptionally clean. Well equipped with microwave and refridgerator. Shelly and her husband were always available for questions/advise. Very effective and friendly. At night it is quiet and the location is great when wanting to go to the Chiricuhua National Monument or bird watching nearby. In Jan/Feb there are thousands of sandhill cranes in the area.

While the staff was very helpful and accommodating and the back patio is very pretty, I found it a bit too budget for my taste. The bed and bedding were fine. The shower and pressure are great. Bare bones in the room though: no coffee pot, no hair dryer, no mini fridge, small small table would have made any food prep hard. Most importantly for me there really was no acceptable sitting place and I needed to do the tinist amount of work. Location is fine. It is a bit noise beucase of the road and the old heater system. I would not pay over $60 to stay here.
