Tucked into the rolling hills of West Virginia, this resort offers a beautiful blend of nature, community, and LGBTQ+ affirmation that’s hard to find, especially in such a tranquil rural setting. The atmosphere at Roseland is warm, friendly, and genuinely inclusive. As an LGBTQ+ traveler who’s constantly on the road, I really appreciated how safe, welcoming, and respectful the space felt. Avoid, avoid, avoid this campground at all costs! It is definitely not worth your time or money. If I could give this place zero stars I would. There are many other campgrounds nearby that are better than this one.|First, I’ll start with the few positives of the place. The bar is really nice and convenient, and the pool area is extremely clean, scenic with mountain views, and very well maintained. That’s about all I have to say that’s positive about this place.|Helpful tip: Be sure to inquire about your tab at the bar. While convenient, prices of beverages are on the steep side and your tab can add up quickly.|Now for the bad: the owner is rude, vulgar, and in my honest opinion, a belligerent alcoholic. A truly wonderful place! The staff was super friendly and the room was outstanding. And yes the view was spectacular! The pool and hot tubs were nice, and as an added plus there was a bar at the pool serving excellent drinks. The food served at the town hall was also pretty good, especially the pizza. Went during the week so it was nice and quiet, basically had the place to ourselves. Michelle was very nice and provided outstanding service. Can't wait to come back.

My husband and I spent the weekend there. From the moment we walked in the door of the office we were treated wonderfully. We were given a quick tour of all they had to offer. The moment we walked to our cabin we were treated to awesome views. The campground was spotless. The staff were some of the friendliest and most helpful that we have ever met. Be prepared to do some walking, but it was worth every step. We definitely intend to visit again.

This place is incredible! My partner and I visited for Christmas in July, and we had an absolute blast. The staff was super friendly, the bathrooms were spotless, and the drinks were strong. The night party was electric, and the views were stunning. Definitely worth the trip!
