Rose of Sharon Bed and Breakfast

Beautiful couple, nice victorian home, great breakfast.

Nice bedrooms and a great breakfast! In addition to the two bedrooms on the second floor, is a sitting room. It is nice to have a place to just sit and talk or read. Sharon and Dick are very gracious. We e||Enjoyed the weather, quiet, and view while rocking in one of the many rocking chairs on the wraparound porch.

I enjoyed a three-night stay at Rose of Sharon B&B as part of a visit back to Potsdam for alumni weekend. Sharon & Dick were very welcoming and everything was well-appointed. I loved the clawfoot tub in the bathroom and the spacious porch to relax. Every time we were out on the porch Sharon was quick to offer a cold drink (iced tea, root beer float) or a tasty snack (fresh chocolate chip cookies). There are two bedrooms available with a shared bath or you could have the option of paying a little more to reserve the entire space. The location is very convenient to Norwood (short walk to the diner), Potsdam (10 minute drive) and Massena (25 minute drive--where we went for a late-night Drive-In movie!) I really enjoyed staying here and found it to be a very good value.
