Rooted Domes

I’ve stayed at Rooted Domes multiple times and I will always return. The location is beautiful and the domes are spotless with the most beautiful touches. It’s a special place that I would recommend to anyone!

Let me first start by saying that it was absolutely PHENOMENAL!! Loved the decor, loved the vibe, loved everything about it. A few things to consider, there is NO cell service...like at all. If you have 4 kids like my wife and I, that is not the best. However, there was Wi-Fi and we were able to IMessage and Facetime the kids in the evenings. Also, the driveway was significantly steep and getting out in a small car would probably be difficult but not impossible. There was a lot of flooding this past weekend and owning a truck was very beneficial because we did end up having to make a couple of water crossings on the roads, but it was not terrible. My partner and I decided to check out Rooted Domes to have a little local getaway and we were blown away by the magic of the place. Megan truly created an oasis of wonder and nature. The thought in all of the details we’d absolutely astonishing. The outside bathtub was so fun! It was also nice to have a bathroom shower house a short walk away. We loved the eggs and creamer left for us! Taking pictures with the camera and using the fire pit were some of our favorite things. We can’t wait to go back! The view was out of this world and I can't recommend going for a night walk to enjoy the well lit walkways.

This is the second year in a row that we have stayed at Rooted Domes for a Jeep event in the Hocking Hills area. It's such a unique experience being in the forest surrounded by nature, but also at the same time in a cozy, gorgeous, meticulously decorated and supplied dome. Megan has thought of every single detail, and made our stay absolutely perfect in every way. We've already booked again for next year!

These are two beautiful little abodes nestled in the forest perfect for a romantic getaway or just wind down. Megan is an amazing host and human being who went above and beyond to help us to ensure our stay went smoothly. She was so kind to figure a solution out for us when our car had broken and saved our getaway! Everything about the place itself is so well thought out and one can tell the host has put her heart and soul into designing every aspect of it. She even has a map of the things to do in the region ready so you can have a great time and not worry about patchy cell service. Would definitely visit the next chance I get!
