This was such an outrageously memorable experience! We stayed in Yellowstone for a week and spent our first night in the Roosevelt Cabins. I honestly regret not booking all of our nights here considering it doesn't take terribly long to get across the main loop. The atmosphere was 10/10. The showers and bathrooms were 9/10. The staff was 10/10. The cabins themselves were so cool that I'm considering building something similar! This was my single favorite stay in Yellowstone and I intend to come back again.

I've been alive for more than 15,000+ nights, and the most miserable night of my life was spent in these cabins in June 2024. We arrived just in time to check in - they actually locked the lobby door shortly after 9, so I had to wait for someone to leave so I could get inside. It was an extremely cold night, in the 20s F. They only gave us 3 pieces of wood for the stove. The instructions for how to use the stove were woefully insufficient. The sign kept referencing things like "damper" and "flue," but no one in our group of 4 knew what those things were. And it wasn't possible to Google them, since there's no cell service or wifi here. Few people under 50 have experience with wood stoves anymore, so they should know to provide much more precise instructions. Don't assume people know terms

We booked the wagon ride cookout dinner and decided why not stay for a few nights. The weekend was fabulous and relaxing. The cookout and the wagon ride was top-notch and we were amazingly surprised at how fabulous dinner was. all the side dishes were unique and tasty and the large New York strip steak was even medium rare and cooked to order. The Wranglers and team were so fun and the entertainment was awesome. Bring your own bottle of wine if you want to. Typically we don’t love the food in the park, but this time we were thrilled with all of it. The restaurant had fabulous service, a wonderful staff, great views and everything we had on the menus for dinner and breakfast were great. They offered board games and cards to play in the lodge as well.| the front porch was amazing and rela

In January 2025 I booked 2 nights for August 2025. When we got there, my reservation was messed up and changed to only 1 night. We had to last minute drive back to Mammoth for cell service so I could double-check my reservation and call Xanterra customer service, who told me that the lodge changed my reservation today and I needed to talk to them, even though I just did. Some weird technical issue happened I guess. The girl working the front desk was empathetic about it & we were able to get a partial discount and find a rental night available in Gardiner. Definitely not an ideal experience though. Anyway, the lodge itself is nice. The rooms have very squeaky floors but overall very cute and beds were comfy. The lodge restaurant was very good and reasonably priced. I would want to book a

We came to these cabins with our scouts from the UK for just a single night before and after a long trek in the backcountry. Due to flight cancellations, we arrived around midnight and really struggled to find anyone to check us in. The site was quite dark and it took us a while to find the one person who could give us keys to our rooms. The rooms themselves are small, clean and basic, but they were almost perfect for the needs of our scouts. I write "almost" because one of our rooms had a hole in the wall that allowed either squirrels or mice to enter and eat mountaineering food during the night. That was not great. What was great was the support of the staff at the front desk in the morning. Brenda and Michaela (Mikayla?) were beyond fantastic. Since some of our bags were lost by the air
