Rod's RV Camp

It's a parking lot with full hookups. The price can't be beat. The owner is great, and pleasant conversation. He doesn't live on site. There's road noise but it's fine. We will always come back when in the area. Our stuff feels safe here. The state park is amazing, really nice park with swimming and more.

I came across these reviews by accident and very upset to read the last 2 reviews. We had stayed at Rod's RV Camp for the last 10 months. Rod has been a very reasonable and respectful owner to us. Considering the cost of housing rentals, the rent here is very reasonable. There were a few months that Rod allowed us to pay rent later than the due date. He never "demanded" rent from us ever! If anything, we were always trying to get a hold of him to pay the rent each month! He's a hard man to catch at times lol. He allowed us to have our dogs onsite without additional charge. Rod and his wife even laid down extra gravel at our site during the rainy months, which was very much appreciated! We always felt safe there with our belongings and it was a very quiet little nestled area with a convenie

Told the owner when I expected to move in and he rented the spot even though I gave him an exact date of move in. I would not recommend paying $350 a month plus a deposit for a tiny spot surrounded by other campers anyways! Plus you pay all utilities! Definitely cheaper spots out there and with more friendly people!

Paid owner rod rent and he came over drunk asking for rent again. Threatened my husband. He told us to pay him for him getting his septic tanks pumped out. Beggin us for 2000 dollars. He is a weird dude. Be careful around him. I do not recommend staying here!

Rod is great! His place is peaceful and right off the exit.. we stayed there for 7 months while working in the area and will definitely go back if in that neck of the woods.
