Rodeway Inn & Suites Rehoboth Beach

It was a horrible, uncomfortable experience. I have been to many little cheap hotels which would be a 5 star next to this one. I had to leave earlier than my booked time. 1. The room smelled like stale smoke room. 2. Bedding did not look like it was done, all so smelled stale. 3. Floor was disgusting (sticky carpets is just wild) , no way I could walk on the floor without proper footwear. 4. Dirty diaper in the trash, and I have no children with me, ( this just means cleaning was not done) 5. Moldy fridge (just disgusting) 6. Bathroom floor was sticky and disgusting, the sink still had paste residue , shower curtain smelled like dirty laundry left in washer, dirty and mold on molding, ceiling falling over the tub and water bubbles through the entire room. This place was fine for being a bargain-tier hotel room. It was actually pretty quiet when we stayed and I didn't have any trouble getting a full night's sleep. The rooms are like semi-suites with a separate breakfast nook, and you do get a fridge and microwave. The furniture was definitely tired but that's what I expect for a $65 motel room. There was some dirt on the carpet when we walked in but the sheets and bathroom were clean. No bugs. This place is attached to the Econo Lodge and that's where breakfast is served. It is also convenient to the Rehoboth Beach bus, which is what we took to go downtown. Overall if you need a really cheap place to stay this is probably your best option.

I would not recommend. My recent visit was very disgusting and disappointing. I don't normally leave bad reviews but this one is well needed to give you fair warning for future stay. Location was good, and price was reasonable, but not worth the stay and being uncomfortable. Needless to say, we spent the afternoon when we arrived cleaning with our own supplies we went and picked up. Just so you know we stayed because we couldn't get a refund. We made it work. NEVER AGAIN! Apon arriving the fridge had brown residue on the shelves that wiped out easily as well as in front of the fridge on the floor that was not cleaned, swept or mopped. Person assigned to do room cleaning or replenish supplies not seen the whole stay. Bath facility lacked hot at the sink but did work in tub and shower. Lighting in bathroom vanity was not working properly. Lighting the room as you entered didn't work. We had someone come to the room to check the hot water. If we chose to have continental breakfast it was not available. Only good thing was the lower price for stay. The clerk on duty was nice. I thought housekeeping was automatic.

Dirty, dingy and dark. Where to begin? Carpet was dirty almost black would not recommend to walk around barefooted. Lighting is bad even with curtains open , was so dark in kitchen. Bathtub had what looked like a permanent dirt stain. Bedroom had some type of stain on the wall. Hallway outside of bathroom had exposed plumbing. See pics. And the room was advertised as a 2 bedroom suite, not quite. I guess they consider the two beds in the main room a bedroom? Strange. Walls are super thin , could hear the people's tv staying next to me, it was so loud and annoying.
