Rodeway Inn & Suites Canyon Lake-Menifee West

Will never stay here again. Bathroom had horrible odor. The bedspread had holes in it as did the curtain. No shelf in shower to put soap or shampoos. Paint was chipped on the walls and door. I was shocked when we first opened the door. I have never been in a place that looked so run down. Absolutely nothing like their ads. The chair was in horrible condition. There was no way we would sit on it. Piles of cigarette butts a few feet from our door.

I was a little dissapointed in the condition of the room, floor was torn up, broken toilet seat, door looked like it was used as an industrial application. On checkout, sitting waiting on my ride and had to listen to the staff tell other people to wait for the service go check the room, then came back and told someone they counted one less towell than was in the room. How embarrassing is this, the hotel staff comes over seeing my chin drop saying, see! See! See! With a look of satisfaction that they caught a guest steeling a towell. He had to tell the staff to look under bedspread... To the staff, how did that look to your other guests, it's petty. You keep a deposit for that kind of stuff. I personally did not ues the towells because they were stained.

Very clean and neat in the room. It's a comfy place to stay. One of the most comfortable mattresses I've ever witnessed in a hotel; I slept great for onece. Good grounds keepers to make sure their customers have parking. Nothing fancy. Definitely would reccomend this spot for travellers and theres a little night life in the plaza too. Very budget friendly :)

If I could rate it 0 I would. Absolutely disgusting. I checked in and instantly checked out. Non smoking room was so bad my 1 year old wouldn’t stop coughing after being in the room for 10 minute. Looks NOTHING like the pictures. Drove 4 hours to walk into a disgusting place. I hate leaving negative reviews but if you have kids seriously reconsider. Food was left in the fridge. Tv didn’t work. Ac literally fell off when I went to turn it on I asked for a refund instantly and the owner said “what’s wrong with the room” so I showed him. Tried to get me another room and it was just as bad. Door was broken!!

if could give this hotel -5 stars i would. the room was absolutely disgusting.. mold in the shower, pink splatter all over the closet doors that are about to fall off, mold on the transition to the balcony door, stained towels and sheets. i was honestly appalled. the worst part was they REFUSED to give me a few extra towels to bathe my children. who does that? i'm about to call EPA on this place. not worth the cheap price at all.. next time i'll spend an extra $50 to stay at a better hotel. this isn't even a motel it's a joke-tel. just do the town a favor and close your doors.
