Rodeway Inn Sergeant Bluff - Sioux City

We came out for a funeral so it was a last minute trip and this was the closest to where we needed to be. However….No door knob inside bathroom, I got locked in several times thankfully I wasn’t staying alone. Beds moved not on headboard. The mattresses fell like they’re 50 years old and all of them in the room made you room to one side. Carpet all ripped up kept stepping on the tack strip.guy at front desk said all of 2 words to me. There was old hair caked to the wall. The lampshades are falling apart. The shower pressure was good but the water does not stay inside the shower even though the shower curtain was inside the shower. Does not look like the pictures on choice hotels website. This smoke free room had cigarette ash dumped into the bathtub. The floors were dirty. The bedsheet had a hole. No blanket on bed. No kleenex. No iron with the iron board.

It's an older motel and the room I had needed some work. My room was clean. No residual smells like cigarette smoke. A few spots on the walls needed small gouges filled in and walls painted. The grout in the shower needed a good scrubbing but there was no evident mold or mildew stains. The wall mounted rack to hang clothes from was pulling out from the wall so I didn't dare use it. The wall plug-ins needed outlet covers. I think they are working on improvements because I glanced into a couple of other rooms as I walked by and they appeared to have been touched up. My fridge & microwave were in good working order and clean. The people there were very nice to me and accommodating. The place was easy to get to from the interstate and there was a service station/convenience store nearby, makin

Old but clean. I was by myself in a hurry traveling. Need a place to get some sleep. Lady at office really nice even though I had very late arrival.

The only good thing about this place, is that it is close to the interstate. Communication, there is a language barrier. Room 108 was cold. The window ac/heat unit was set at 80° and blowing cold 🥶 air. The filter was so dirty and clogged. The bathroom floor was dirty, with dirt & hair on the floor. The sink fills up with water, slow drain and has dirt particles floating in the water while you try to wash your hands or brush your teeth. The towels & washcloths are dingy almost as if they aren't clean and feel like sandpaper. At 6:55 the next morning tried to get coffee to go & the doors were locked and tried ringing the doorbell to get someone to unlock and no one showed up. Will not be staying here again & I am a Choice Diamond Member. This place does not need to have the Choice name behi
