Rodeway Inn Oscoda

Drive 3hrs to bring my children and granddaughter here for a little 2 night getaway. This place is like a little hidden gem. My room was spacious and clean. Management was amazing, she went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed. When I said good morning to house keeping she was nothing but smiles, asked if I needed anything and offered fresh towels. And the pool, absolutely amazing! It was warm, my kids absolutely loved every minute of their stay. Thank you so much to the staff, we look forward to seeing you all again. It's safe to say we will escape here as much as we possibly can!

The room stunk like it’s been closed up, idk what that smell was, they tried masked the dank with some kind of scent. The walls and baseboards had dirt and god knows what all over them we couldn’t stay there. The pool had a dirt ring around it, oh yea the bed was hard as a rock. I took my kids up to enjoy Lake Huron . We left the next morning total waste of time and money. It was so bad that I paid for 2 days, left check time the next morning. The vending machines barely had anything in them. The coffee was weak I could see right through it. Terrible filthy hole. Save your money and sleep on the beach or in your car. Disgusting filthy hole. I paid $237 for 2 night stay. I wasn’t expecting it to be luxury, just clean. I should have taken pictures, but I was so disgusted we just left. And t

The manager was very knowledgeable about his job and explained how much the hotel had to offer. It was a very well remodeled hotel, l just hope they finished the place,by cleaning up around the area, and making it attractive outside as it is inside. thank you for the pleasant stay, to the manager and his family.

Took a trip to Oscoda this place had one room supposedly open. Walked in it was dark to the point you could even see parts of the hotel. It smelled old and like pungent chlorine. Asked if I could see room she took me down like wood statues then way back to the end of a hallway . Wasn’t a secure place she just opened door no lock the room was unkept beds weren’t made properly, curtains were hanging wrong . It was absolutely gross. I mentioned it felt unsafe she didn’t care. Asked for money bk they denied it. I would tell anyone thinking about staying here yiu could stay in a tent and it would be better.

We booked this room months in advance for a family reunion. What was supposed to be 85/night ended up being over 200/night! This place is not worth that rate at all. They refused to refund so we had to stay here because that was too much money to waste. This hotel is dirty, dated, and the people working here aren't friendly at all. It's hard to tell who is who here because nobody wears uniforms, name tags, or anything. Upon checking into the room, the room was dirty. It was so obvious that it hadn't been cleaned(see pics). The room had a bad paint job. The a/c didn't work. The free continental breakfast was just stale cereal, stale bread, and muffins. This is likely intentional because they have a food menu that you can buy, not free. You have to pay for it if you want eggs, bacon, or anyt
