Rodeway Inn Lakeville - Finger Lakes Area

We were only there one night, passing through to Ohio, but we enjoyed our stay. The staff was so friendly and accommodating. The rooms were so clean and looked to be recently updated. The bed was comfortable and cozy. We had breakfast at the restaurant down stairs & it was very good home cooked food. The only negative I would give would be the noise in the hallway. You could hear everyone talking, kids running and being kids, as they passed by. Maybe insulate the doors? It wasn’t hateful by no means, just stating what we observed. It is a very quaint little hotel with a comfortable”Mom & Pop” vibe. Honestly, much better than some of the chain hotels I’ve ever stayed in. We would stay again if we ever found ourselves in that area again.

The rooms are comfy and well Maintained. Although some of the furniture is showing signs of advanced age. I had several small issues that were very quickly resolved. The overnight guy tends to be not the friendliest person.

Everything was fine they were easy to get along with till Thursday morning when the supervisor a redhead snapped at me because I did not know That's the Department of Social Services was talking to them at the same time they were talking to me over the phone because I just voiced my opinion about how the county was supposed to pick us Tuesday morning she basically told me to shut up and keep it quiet please watch what you say about certain people cuz I'm afraid they got off the wrong side of the bed

This low review is for the room we stayed in only. The staff is very friendly and the restaurant was good, but the room...oh my. We were met by the smell of wet dog when we opened the door. Speaking of the door, it was so warped you could see daylight through the side of the door - I am not kidding. The beds and linens are dated and the bathroom had a dirt water line on the trim. I just had a feeling of overall yuck staying in that room. Hopefully, all the rooms are not like the one we stayed in. It's a shame because the people working there are so kind. It could do with a good renovation. I hope it happens for their sakes.

Neither mattress. in our room was supportive. Both need to be replaced. The room had an odd smell, I think wet dog would describe it. On the positive side. the attached restaurant was convenient and both dinner and breakfast were good.
