Rodeway Inn Joint Base Andrews Area

The room had a microwave and min8 fridge. It was also carpeted. The building is older but the staff works hard to maintain standards. The entire staff is friendly and they clean room daily. It was also clean when zo checked in. I saw no bugs and roaches contrary to other exaggerated reviews. The king bed was also quite comfortable. It was far better than Motel 6. If you understand before hand that the building is older and have reasonable expectations, you will likely enjoy your stay. I did and it actually exceeded my expectations because of the effort put forth by the staff.

The room was horrible, the bed was previously slept in, there was no phone in the room, the desk did not answer when I tried my private cell, the wi-fi was unavailable, finally the person in the next room played loud music until well after three in the morning, and was smoking drugs in a non smoking room. It seems the inn only cares about money, not actual quality.

Stay anywhere but here. The hotel keeps raising their prices yet nothing improves. Claim they raised the prices for the breakfast of orange juice and bagels. It is on the other side of a better hotel that has conference room, gym etc and they are charging the same price. Rodeway inn guests don’t get access to that stuff yet pay the same price? Ceiling in the bathroom leaking and failing apart and nothing gets done. I needed the manager to email a third party site to cancel my reservation and the manager took his time and never did it so I almost had to be without a place to stay.

Positive: The day we left. Negative: Walls/ Ceiling busted. Door frame looked kicked in. Weed smell throughout. Fridge / microwave inop. 1 working outlet. Very bad neighborhood. Pictures online not current. Staff behind bullet proof glass in lobby. Very nervous at night. Bad bad bad area.

The room smelled like cigaret smoke when it was a none smoking room. There was a brown substance stuck to the bathroom sink. The shower faucet was sticking out of the wall. I used one of the towels on my face and broke out in a rash. The tv remote had no back to it so the batteries kept falling out and the tv was broken.
