Rodeway Inn Huntington Station - Melville

Room does come with a tv with cable, mini fridge and microwave. That's why they got 2 stars. Thought there were bed bugs on the mattress cover...but to my surprise it was just mold! 🤢 Called the gentleman up front to replace it, was told he didn't have any more. Asked if they could at least wash this one, they said sure. The sink was fixed and the sheets were changed. Same mattress cover on it. Asked the gentleman again, they said covers were ordered. What about washing this one at least?! No answers. No solutions. Do not stay here. It's not worth over $120 a night.

Lots of reasons: 1) Key card did not work. Had it recut several times and it still didn't work. 2) No hand towels. Was told they ran out. How can a motel run out of towels!!?? 3)No hooks in bathroom to hang wet towels. 4)Tub was w-a-y too high. Couldn't lift my leg high enough to get into the tub; consequently couldn't shower. 5) My husband got into the shower, turned the hot water on and got only a trickle - no water pressure. Only the cold water had decent pressure so he took a cold shower. Never staying in a Roadway Inn again!

I was there for one night only, going to the US Open for Wednesday night and Thursday day. I so appreciated being able to use points for this. The hotel was in a good location. I did get an initial room that i discovered the guest hadn't left. So I had to get another room. The bed was comfortable, and the new flooring was nice. The bathtub/shower was old and needed updating. It looked like one build was in the middle of renovation. The television was small and I was unable to adjust the volume. Having two remotes was initially confusing until I noticed what was either a cable box or a VCR. It was nice to have frig and microwave, though I'm not sure the desk is the best place for the microwave. Whenever the next renovation happens, I'd recommend the bedside lamps include plugs

At the time of our stay we did not have the correct room reservation. We stayed in a non smoking double that had cigarette burns on the comforters and linger of smoke smell. The wallpaper was held together by staples. The light flickered in the bathroom like a built in haunted house. There was a blood spatter that was in the room upon our arrival. The room had cobjob renovations that my two year old could have done. Stay only out of necessity.

No coffee or breakfast as advetized Bed was soft and uncomfotale. NO coffee no one at front desh 2 times i went there, Absolutly no security with sketchy peop;e in areas/ Room carpet should have been replaced 15 years ago. Cheap tv
